Visitors receive no cookies: no audience measurement, no advertising, no trackers. Only the site administrator, on logging in to the moderation area, receives a technical session cookie, which is strictly necessary.
Comments. If you leave a comment on the home page, we keep the name or pseudonym you chose, the message, its date and the language of the page. No e-mail address is requested. To fight spam, we also record a fingerprint of your IP address, obtained by salted cryptographic hashing: the address itself is never stored, and the fingerprint is erased no later than 30 days after posting.
Moderation. Every comment is read before publication; those that fall short of the rules (courtesy, no insults and nothing unlawful) may be declined, hidden or deleted. Once published, the pseudonym, the message and the date are visible to all.
Retention and hosting. The data are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, with the host named above. Comments are kept for as long as the site exists, or until you ask for their removal. Purpose: to allow discussion; legal basis: your consent, given by posting, and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse as regards the IP fingerprint.
Your rights. To obtain access to, correction or deletion of a comment, write to edliberatus@gmail.com, giving the pseudonym, the approximate date and, if possible, an extract of the message. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority. We collect nothing else: we have neither the inclination nor, truth be told, the equipment.
